Between past and present
A journey through time
abode of the princes
This splendid residence located in the village of Santa Maria di Castellabate has an important history linked to the family of the Princes of Belmonte.
An aristocratic family of great prestige, with origins dating back to the 15th century, had a magnificent palace built right here in Cilento as a hunting preserve. This mansion hosted the Kings of Spain and Italy during unforgettable wild boar and quail hunts.
In recent years, the Prince of Belmonte has embarked on a major restoration project in order to preserve the majesty of the Palace and improve the usability of the interior and exterior spaces. The result is a structure that impeccably harmonizes past and present, creating a welcoming and charming environment that can make you feel at home and envelop you in beauty. Thanks to this project, Palazzo Belmonte has become the historical and artistic heritage of Cilento.
